Precision Facial Surgery offers an SMS messaging program to facilitate post-operative care communications between patients and their surgical care team. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Precision Facial Surgery related to your surgical care, including post-operative check-in messages and responses to your inquiries.
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our intake form (or verbally consenting during your visit), you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from Precision Facial Surgery at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of receiving treatment. You may receive messages regarding:
Message frequency varies based on your care needs. Typically, you will receive one check-in message on the day of your procedure. Additional messages may be exchanged if you initiate a conversation with our care team. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Precision Facial Surgery is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier for sending or receiving text messages.
You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to any message received from us. You will receive a single confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from Precision Facial Surgery text messages. You will receive no further texts. Reply START to re-enroll, or call (301) 744-8458."
After opting out, you will not receive any further text messages from our program unless you re-enroll by texting START or by providing consent again at a future visit.

Our SMS program is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our SMS Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. We do not sell or share your phone number or message content with third parties for marketing purposes.
Text messages exchanged through this program may contain protected health information (PHI). All messages are stored securely and treated as part of your medical record in compliance with HIPAA. Standard SMS is not encrypted end-to-end; by consenting, you acknowledge this limitation. For sensitive health discussions, we recommend contacting our office directly by phone.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL. Continued participation in the SMS program after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
